Breaking the Mold: Let’s Unlearn Judgment and Embrace Diversity in Beauty

If you’re someone who loves the feel of a moisturized, foundation-free face, someone who’s never shaved their thighs, or never considered injections because aging naturally is your preference, it’s time to pause before labeling other women as fake or unnatural, and therefore, not beautiful.

Similarly, if you’re all about glamour, wearing perfect makeup even for grocery shopping, if eyelashes, hair extensions, botox, and plastic surgeries define you, don’t rush to conclude that those preferring a more ‘natural’ approach are neglectful or less beautiful.

We need to retrain our minds to stop judging. We must acknowledge that what doesn’t align with our concept of beauty isn’t necessarily inferior.

Every day, I encounter countless women wrestling with their self-confidence. It’s heartbreaking to see that we, as women, often play a significant role in exacerbating these insecurities.

Before we point fingers at men for sexism, let’s start with ourselves. Each time we gossip about another woman’s appearance or drop an unkind comment online, we contribute to the very problem we’re all fighting to overcome: the desire to be loved, be seen, and feel beautiful – always.
